Ratcliffe and Brailsford are expected to pay regular visits to the offices at United and harbour intentions to hire a sporting director and recruitment specialist. His approach is likely to be a sharp contrast to the Glazers, who last attended a game in February – United's Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle at Wembley.
