Sargent has struggled with ankle issues this season – with surgery required at one stage – and Wagner has confirmed that another knock has been picked up in that area. Norwich are, however, confident that their 16-goal top scorer will be ready for a crucial trip to Elland Road on Thursday.
WHAT WAGNER SAID
Wagner told reporters when delivering an update on Sargent: “Obviously he wasn't able to carry on. I haven't spoken with him or the medical department in any detail. I think he has some problems with his ankle again. But he's a tough guy. And obviously it's a big game. I hope and I think he will be fine.”

That is good news for Norwich and their loyal legion of supporters, as they take aim at promotion back into the Premier League, while Gregg Berhalter and the USMNT camp will be pleased to hear that no serious setback has been suffered heading towards a Copa America tournament in the States this summer.
